• Bonnie Piekarski (she/her)

    Bonnie is the Founder of the Milagros Project and also a local community activist, mother, and student who has worked within the Woonsocket, RI community for over 15 years. She has been involved in food justice work and has worked heavily as an advocate for fighting black injustice and inequities.

  • Eve Armstrong (she/her)

    Eve is one of the co-founders of the Milagros Project. As well as website editor for the non-profit.

  • Maria Garcia (she/her)

    Maria is one of the co-founders of the Milagros Project. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in human development and family science with a concentration in family and social services.

  • Jennifer Dubois (she/her)

    Jennifer is a community organizer for the Milagros Project. She is also a mother, an advocate for teens with substance abuse, and pursuing her degree in criminal justice. Currently, she works in the medical field with a focus on adolescents on the autism spectrum.

  • Jocelyn Betancur (she/her)

    Jocelyn is the treasurer for the Milagros Project and works full-time as a lab research assistant at a university, studying ALS curative measures.

  • Jaliyah Joseph (she/her)

    Jaliyah is an activist and community organizer. She serves as the executive director of (TIME TO RUN). Also as an assistant executive director of BLM RI PAC. When not servicing her community she is currently attending her first year at Temple University. She serves as the social media editor for the Milagros Project.

    For the last two years, she has dedicated all of her time to advocating for Rhode Island’s most vulnerable communities.

  • Andrea Rasicot (she/her)

    Andrea has been actively serving the community in several organizations (sigma phi gamma-ladies, Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI, Gilly’s House and Junior Achievement.

    Her passion in philanthropy lies with the local and underserved communities.
